Police are appealing for information after a man was found seriously injured in Beckton.
Police were called at around 6am to reports of an injured man on Spur Road, Beckton on Thursday.
The 27-year-old man was found lying on the pavement of the slip road that leads onto the westbound A13 at the junction with the A406. Where they found the man who had suffered serious head injuries - but it is unknown how he sustained the injuries.
London Ambulance Service also attended and took the man to a central London hospital where he remains in a critical but stable condition.
