Plans to build a temporary three-storey marketing suite at the Boleyn Ground have been submitted to the council, as the next stage of redeveloping West Ham’s former home gets underway.

The Hammers left the site in Green Street, Upton Park, in May, to make way for 842 new homes.

BDW Trading Ltd, based in Stratford’s High Street have handed in proposals for a suite at the north-west corner of the ground, right next to St Edward’s R C Primary School, previously used for stadium access and car parking.

The building would be used for five years and feature a reception, office and storage to serve residents of the scheme’s first phases.

Three demonstration apartments of one, two and three bedrooms would be based on the first and second floors, plus a meeting space, kitchen and toilets.
