A house in Plaistow was damaged by fire after a blaze broke out in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Four fire engines and around 20 firefighters and officers from East Ham, Plaistow, Stratford and Leytonstone tackled the fire at a property in Winkfield Road.
The Brigade was called at just after 2.32am and the fire was under control in less than an hour.
No injuries were reported but parts of the ground floor and roof of the home were damaged.
The cause of the fire is under investigation
