Cinema-goers enjoyed a blast from the past when they showed up in 50s get-up for Secret Cinema’s hotly anticipated Back To The Future screening.
Iconic building facades from the celebrated 1985 cult classic had popped up in the International Quarter by Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in recent weeks, promising visitors the full Hill Valley experience.
Despite postponing the first night at short notice, much to the disappointment of ticket holders, the movie event finally opened to rave reviews last week.
Fans watched Robert Zemeckis’ movie on a big screen beneath a replica of the very clock tower featured in the film while live actors quite literally brought some of the film’s most famous scenes to life at various points during the showing.
