Former gold medalist Mark Colbourne MBE will be back on his bike at Cyclotopia 2017.

The Paralympic cyclist will be leading the cycling fundraiser at the Lee Valley VeloPark on Sunday, June 11.

The event will feature various cycling circuits, including mountain bike trails and BMX tracks, and cycling the iconic velodrome track in aid of charities Breathing Matters and Haematology Cancer Care.

“On a personal level, cycling has helped me through some of my darkest moments and it has given me so much joy,” Mark explained.

“When I cycle, I feel able bodied again and I hope others can share my passion for this great sport – if only for a day.

“There really is something for everyone – including interactive family friendly events and It’s also fun for the spectators.”

Cyclotopia starts at 9.30am and costs £25 for the road circuit, mountain bike trail, static bike competition, Tour de France training and BMX training.
