Defender set to remain at Brisbane Road.
Leyton Orient defender Mathieu Baudry will not be joining fellow League One side Peterborough United on loan after the club reportedly pulled the plug on the deal.
The 26-year-old has seen opportunities limited of late at Brisbane Road, featuring just twice off the bench for the O’s under new boss Fabio Liverani.
And despite that, it is believed the O’s have opted against sending the Frenchman on loan to the ABAX Stadium outfit.
“The defender won’t now be joining us as his current club have decided to keep him,” Posh boss Darren Ferguson told the Peterborough Telegraph.
“It’s frustrating as I feel I need an extra centre-half, but we are still looking and ideally I would have two new players in the building before the deadline.”
