A charitable walking group has presented Macmillan Cancer Support with a cheque for £552.
Newham Striders Queen Elizabeth Park group raised the sum during a special 5km walk to mark its first anniversary earlier this year.
The presentation followed, you guessed it, a 20-minute walk around the Olympic park.
Founder Ken Aigbe, who is also a volunteer for Active Newham, Join In and Park Champions LLDC, has built the group up from four to 25 active members over the past 12 months.
