The Old Manor Park Library is hosting an open day on Saturday.

The ex-public library in Romford Road reopened in 2015 as an arts studio, designers’ workshop and community space.

On Saturday, along with an opportunity to see the building and studios, it will be hosting activities and discussions.

As well as studios, the building is home to the Rabbits Road Institute, a community space which holds workshops, talks and film screenings.

The artists in residency scheme is currently seeing OOMK (One of My Kind) create a biannual art publication. They’ve also set up a printing press, and are providing inductions and running their own events.

The space is operated by Bow Arts, a charity which works to provide east London with artistic spaces and educational opportunities and support local emerging artists.

Saturday’s event is free and refreshments will be provided. The day runs from 11am until 4pm.
