Leyton Orient’s reward for a shock 1-0 win at Premier League side Aston Villa tonight was a home tie with Nigel Clough’s Sheffield United in the third round of the Capital One Cup.

Substitute Romain Vincelot struck with three minutes left to give Russell Slade’s side a surprise win in the Midlands, with the O’s having progressed via a penalty shoot-out in the previous round against Plymouth Argyle.

And after plenty of away-days over the first month of the season, Slade will be happy to be back in front of the Brisbane Road faithful, with the tie due to be played the week beginning September 22.

The Blades caused an upset of their own on Tuesday night when they dumped out another Premier League side in the shape of West Ham United at Upton Park on penalties.

For the O’s,the fixture will fall inbetween a trip to Scunthorpe United and a home match against Rochdale.
