Early end to loan spell at O’s for Welsh international.
Defender Neal Eardley has returned to parent club Birmingham City following his one-month loan spell with the O’s.
The 26-year-old played played just one game for Fabio Liverani’s side in that time frame – a 2-0 loss at Colchester United on January24 , and was on the bench for Orient in their 4-1 home loss to Scunthorpe United a week later.
The loan spell was due to run until February 22, but the Welsh international has returned to St Andrew’s early.
He will not be able to play for the Blues though until February 23 due to his registration with the O’s.
