The founder of a youth anti-violent crime charity in North Woolwich won the Sports Category in a national newspaper’s award for Britain’s most inspirational people.

Luke Dowdney MBE, a former amateur boxer, is also the founder and director of Fight for Peace which uses the sport combined with martial arts to help young victims of crime and violence.

For his efforts, The Telegraph included Luke in its ‘Amazing 15’ people “who represent Britain’s most exciting talent today”.
