Newham residents are set to benefit from the new night tube network

A new map of London’s nocturnal network reveals that Newham residents will not lose out on the extended service.

From September 12, tubes are to run throughout Friday and Saturday nights on the Central line, approximately every ten minutes between White City and Leytonstone, and in 20 minute intervals from Ealing Broadway.

On the Jubilee line, West Ham and Canning Town residents can enjoy a regular ten minute service across the entire line.

And the party is not over for other Londoners, with services on the Northern, Victoria and Picadilly lines also mapped out.

There are also plans to expand the service to parts of the Metropolitan, Circle, District, and Hammersmith & City lines, once the initial phase is complete.

Passengers will be charged a standard off-peak fare for their journey, with average travel time cut by 20 minutes, some by more than an hour. The Night Tube is to play a vital role in opening up London’s night-time economy, boosting the economy by £360m.
