A woman died her hair pink at a charity gala held to raise funds for a toddler who is unable to walk.
A total of £1,310 was raised for three-year-old Mayzi Price, who has spastic diplegia cerebral palsy which affects both her legs and left arm, at the event at the Tollgate Tavern pub, Newham, on Saturday.
The money will go towards intensive physiotherapy treatment which could see her finally able to walk with an aid.
Mazi and her parents, Stacie Eagle, 22, and Paul Price, 31, looked on as music from a number of different acts was heard alongside face painting, a bouncy castle and a variety of different stalls.
Bar staff Karen Oliver opted to die her hair bright pink on the day and managed to raise about £150.
She said: “Maizy is so happy. I know she just wants to get up and walk and I wanted to help anyway I could.”
