THE Recorder understands that at least one of three men arrested under the Terrorism Act in the early hours of Saturday is from Forest Gate.

The men aged, 22, 30 and 40, were arrested on suspicion of the commission, preparation or instigation of acts of terrorism over an alleged attempt to set fire to a publishing business in Islington.

Two of the men were apprehended by armed officers and arrested in the street, and the third was stopped in a car.
