A Newham charity set up to support isolated elderly people is organising a gala dinner and evening of entertainment.
Ekta is holding the event on Saturday, September 13, to raise money for the service which provides a network of care groups for Asian pensioners.
Singers have been invited to liven-up the evening and all proceeds will go towards the project’s transport costs and health activities.
The event is being held at VHP Hall, Cleveland Rd, Ilford and will take place from 6.30 to 11.00pm.
Tickets are by donation of £15.
