A 22-year-old has been charged after a naked man threw chimney parts off a roof during a police stand-off in East Ham.

The hour-long incident in Stevenage Road, ended on Saturday morning around 9.15am when firefighters in a cherry-picker managed to talk the man down.

Ivaylo Vasilev, of no fixed address, is charged with three counts of criminal damage, one count of breaching public order, one count of exposure and another of trespassing on a railway.
