Police have launched a murder investigation after finding a man in a cemetery with a fatal neck injury.
The victim, 54, was found in City of London Cemetery, Manor Park, shortly after 2pm yesterday but died in hospital later the same day.
Detectives said they are aware of the victim’s identity but are still awaiting formal identification.
A post mortem examination is due to take place soon.
