Motorcyclist dies after Canning Town collision

A motorcyclist has died following a collision in Canning Town.

Officers are appealing for witnesses to the incident, which took place in Silvertown Way at around 9pm yesterday.

A BMW had collided with a motorbike and two taxis, one yellow and one silver.

The biker, a man aged 32, was taken to hospital but was pronounced dead at 10.42pm.

Nobody else was injured.

Enquiries are underway to locate his next of kin and a post mortem will be scheduled in due course.

All the drivers involved stopped at the scene and are assisting police with enquiries. No arrests have been made.
