East Ham wasn’t left out as Newham partied for the Royal Wedding.
Pubs, clubs and businesses pulled out the stops.
In Cotswold Gardens, East Ham, residents enjoyed lessons in Salsa given by a pro-Terry Lewis who had everyone going through their steps to music giving the while street a Latin feel.
There were raffles and plenty of tasty food and drinks to tuck into. Children got the chance to visit some small pets or see a fire engine up close as well as several bouncy castles.
Tables and chairs provided by local schools lined the streets which were colourfully transformed with red, white and blue. More pictures on our website, our sister website www.London24.com and in paper next week.
