RAIL travellers are warned that London Overground’s Stratford to Richmond service faces a complete shutdown from Monday (Dec 27) through to January 3, 2011.
Partial closure over the Stratford to Gospel Oak section has operated since December 18 with warnings of further closures in February.
A rail replacement service is in place.
Transport chiefs say closures are needed to complete works that will herald new trains, increased frequency to a train every eight minutes between Stratford and Camden Town, station upgrades with better CCTV coverage and information systems.
