Mobility vehicle in Olympic Park accident

One person was injured following an accident involving a mobility vehicle on the Olympic Park.

The accident happened yesterday afternoon.

A London 2012 spokesman said: “A Games mobility vehicle was involved in an accident on the Olympic Park. One person received minor cuts and grazing.

“The driver was fully trained, and we are discussing the incident with him now to understand the circumstances.”

The vehicles are used to transport people with mobility issues around the site, and are restricted to a speed of 3mph.
