Concern is growing for the welfare of a pensioner who has been missing for two days.
Jean Borg, 73, who sometimes visits East Ham, has dementia and is described by police as “unsteady on her feet.”
She was last seen in Glen Road, Plaistow, at 4.15pm on Wednesday.
Jean is described as white with brown hair.
On the day she went missing she was wearing a pink cap, dark cardigan, a blue coat and carrying two handbags. She walks with a stick and limps from a recent fall.
Police are keen to locate her whereabouts as she needs regular medication for a number of health issues.
To help, contact Newham Missing Person Unit on 0207 275 5728 or the non-emergency number 101, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
