A family are celebrating after the safe return of their much loved pet.

After one-year-old Barny went missing on February 6 owner, Sabrina Lescevic, 23, launched a full scale campaign to find him but had heard no news.

She said the call she had been hoping for came a kindly neighbour, in Saxon Road, East Ham, just one street away from the family home in Roman Road.

“Now it’s like she never went away,” she said. “It’s just a really good feeling I don’t know how to describe it.

“The house feels full and everything is in it’s place and how it should be.”

Apart from weight loss and being in some serious need of some TLC Barny appears to have not suffered any serious injuries.

Her parents Angelica and Antaolijus are also delighted at Barny’s return.

“My mum was over the moon. She was so happy. She even took the day off work to spend time with Barny.”

Sabina hopes her happy ending will help other owners of missing pets.

“Never give up hope,” She said. “There are some good people out there.”
