A man who died after he was hit by a train at Manor Park has been identified by British Transport Police.
John Plumbley, 53, from Manor Park was hit on June 5 just after 1pm. The incident caused disruption for passengers as trains to and from Liverpool Street station were suspended.
A British Transport Police (BTP) spokeswoman said: “BTP officers were called to Manor Park station on Wednesday, 5 June following a report that a man had been struck by a train.
“Officers from BTP and Metropolitan Police attended the incident, which was reported to BTP at 1.14pm and is currently being treated as non-suspicious.”
