Police have released CCTV images of a man wanted in connection with indecent behaviour on trains from Stratford.
A woman and a 15-year-old girl were victims on separate occasions while travelling alone last month.
The first incident was on January 16 on the 17.34 National Express East Anglia Liverpool Street to Shenfield service.
The 23-year-old victim noticed a man standing close behind her. He started to touch her inappropriately.
She was unable to move in the busy carriage until a seat became available, allowing her to move away from the man.
He continued to stare at her until he left the train at Goodmayes.
On January 23, on the 08.57 Stratford to Goodmayes service, the 15-year-old was approached by what is believed to be the same man, who took a seat opposite her.
He stared at her, before touching himself indecently. She eventually got away after alighting at Seven Kings.
Investigating officer Det Cons Graeme Knox, from the British Transport Police, said: “Both victims were left feeling frightened and violated, and intimidating beahaviour of this nature is simply not acceptable.”
