A man escaped serious injury after being struck by a bus yesterday.
The 25-year-old was knocked over and treated for leg and back pain after allegedly stepping out in front of the vehicle while it was moving.
The London Air Ambulance team flew to the scene in Romford Road, Forest Gate, at about 3.45pm.
The man was released from the Royal London Hospital, Whitechapel, the same day after being taken there as a priority by road ambulance accompanied by the doctor from the air ambulance team.
A Met police spokesman said: “A 25 year old male walked in front of a moving bus,” adding his injuries were not life threatening or life changing.
