The chips were down for one Aspers Casino punter last week when he got stuck in a lift.
Firefighters were called to Westfield Stratford City at about 4am on March 13 to help free the customer, but he was forced to wait for lift engineers before he could be rescued.
The man suffered no ill-effects from his forced entrapment.
One Stratford firefighter quipped: “The only thing he was suffering from was losing a lot of money.”
