Man seriously injured after falling through warehouse roof
A MAN suffered serious injuries after falling through a warehouse roof in Silvertown yesterday.
A MAN suffered serious injuries after falling through a warehouse roof in Silvertown yesterday.
The accident took place at around 1.30pm at the Iron Mountain warehouse in Bradfield Road.
Ambulance crews treated the 54-year-old subcontractor at the scene.
He had suffered chest injuries after falling over 40 ft through a window panel.

The 54-year-old was taken to the Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel where his condition is believed to be serious but not life threatening. Another man was helped down from the roof by firefighters from Stratford and Bow stations.
Newham Police were also at the site.

The accident is being investigated by the Health & Safety Executive (HSE).
