A 52-year-old has man died in a collision with a stolen car outside Manor Park train station this morning.
Emergency services were called to an accident at Station Road, at 7.23am where a stolen blue Ford Focus hit a bin and struck the man, who was pronounced dead later at the scene.
A man, believed by the police to be the driver, was seen to run away from the car.
The next of kin have been informed and there have been no arrests.
The train station reopened after closing for about 90 minutes causing major disruption to commuters who were unable to board trains in both directions.
