A man was found suffering from stab wounds in Plaistow last night.
Emergency services called to Sewell Street, at about 10pm last night where the victim, believed to be in his twenties, was found.
He was taken to an east London hospital where his condition is currently being assessed but is not believed to be serious, according to a Met spokesman.
One man has been arrested in connection with this incident.
Police in Newham are investigating and enquiries continue.
