A man has been charged with being in possession of cannabis and a knife following a search of a car in East Ham.

Mohammed Moynul, from Waddon Park Avenue, Croydon, has also been charged with driving without insurance after officers from the Safer Neighbourhood Team stopped and searched a vehicle in Sandford Road.

The 39-year-old has been bailed and will appear at Thames Magistrates’ Court on Friday, March 24.
