BRITISH Transport Police are appealing for information after a 30-year-old man was attacked while travelling through Newham.
The victim tried to intervene in a fight between two men on a train from Limehouse to Barking on June 23 at around 10pm.
He was punched in the face, which left a small cut on his left eye, and left the train at Barking.
The suspect, captured on CCTV, is thought to have got off the train at Upminster and is described as a white man, aged between 20 and 30 with short blond hair.
He was wearing a pink top and dark coloured shorts.
