A man has been arrested on suspicion of a racially aggravated offence after being filmed making offensive comments about Islam on a bus.
Footage of the incident was taken on the route 104 bus travelling between Stratford and Manor Park train station.
Police were made aware of the incident on October 28 and following an appeal, the 35-year-old was arrested on Tuesday, December 3, on suspicion of racially aggravated threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour.
He has been bailed to a date in January 2014 pending further enquiries.
