Motorists will not be able to get into Westfield Stratford City via the Lea Interchange from today for almost two weeks.
As part of work to prepare for the Olympic and Paralympic Games the access to the shopping centre via the Lea Interchange will be shut, and the closure will remain in place until May 12.
Diversion signage is in place on the A11 and A12 on all routes around Westfield Stratford City, directing customers to the site via Warton Road.
A number of test events take place from Wednesday until May 8 at the Olympic Park, with many people arriving at Stratford Station and walking through Westfield to access the venues.
Westfield says it is working closely with the local council and the London Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games (LOCOG) to ensure there is as little disruption as possible to shoppers.
