Syed Kamall, MEP for London, has signed up to help small and medium sized businesses increase their trade overseas.

He has signed up to a national campaign by the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) and become a Real-Life Entrepreneur Champion. Syed signed the FSB’s pledge at the recent Going Global Conference to assist small and medium sized businesses increase their trade abroad.

As a Real-Life Entrepreneur Champion Syed has promised to listen to the concerns of fellow entrepreneurs and champion their cause, represent their interests on a European level, recognise the many thousands of hard-working entrepreneurs that support the UK economy and support the FSB in its endeavours to get the best deal for Real-Life Entrepreneurs.

Syed Kamall said: “During the tough economic times that we currently find ourselves, we must look to promote growth. Small business and the entrepreneurs that establish them are the life blood of our economy and it is essential that we do every thing that we can to assist them.”

John Walker, National Chairman of the FSB, said: “Small businesses are vital to our economy and it is imperative we recognise their importance so I am pleased that Syed has committed to helping us in our cause.”
