Road closures around the ExCeL exhibition centre have been announced in preparation for this year’s Defence Systems Equipment International which opens on September 13.
The bi-ennial arms fair means some will remain closed for as long as a week. The event, which will run from September 13-16, regularly attracts in excess of 20,000 international visitors as well as groups of committed protestors.
Custom House DLR station to Royal Victoria Dock footbridge, Royal Victoria footbridge, dock edge public area, from Corniche to Connaught Cut and Prince Regent DLR to dockside edge, will all be closed from September 11-17.
The dock edge public area from Royal Victoria Dock footbridge to Connaught Cut will be closed from September 8-18.
