Teenagers had their political puzzles solved when their local Member of Parliament dropped by for a question and answer session on Friday.
Students from St Angela’s Ursuline School, Forest Gate, and neighbouring St Bonaventure’s RC School asked Lyn Brown, the Labour MP for West Ham, about everything from the state of the economy to the rise in tuition fees to benefits caps.
Ms Brown also answered more personal questions on her role and how she came to be a politican.
