Leyton Orient player ratings from yesterday’s 2-2 draw at Bramall Lane.

Romain Vincelot’s header with the final action of the game sealed 10-man O’s a battling point at Sheffield United yesterday.

After a fairly poor first half from both sides Orient lead through Jay Simpson’s tap in, but the second half was all Sheffield United.

Chance after chance came their way and you just thought it may be their day as a combination of post and bar saved them on a number of occasions.

There was little respite as O’s never really threatened in the second period and the

Effort all looked like being in vain when Paddy McCarthy equalised and then Marc McNulty headed the Blades in front.

However Frenchman Romain Vincelot, who now has a rival in the beard stakes in midfield from loanee Jack Price, thundered in a 99th minute header from a pinpoint corner from Price.

And below are the player ratings from the draw at Bramall Lane.

Woods 7 – Dealt with the second half bombardment well and was largely solid throughout. Could do little with either Sheffield United goal. Booked late on for time wasting.

Omozusi 6 –Weakest of the defenders on show. At fault for the early Sheffield United chance inside a minute and in the second half could have conceded a penalty before a fresh Campbell-Ryce caused him problems

Clarke 7 – Better from the skipper in a solid outing, booked and was running a risk of a second yellow at times.

Lowry 7 – Defended resolutely for the most part along with rest of the back four.

Cuthbert 8 – Kept Murphy quiet for the most part and snuffed out one particular attack in the first half. Was solid throughout and still tries to contribute going forward.

Price 7 – Loanee came in for his first start and didn’t disappoint on the whole. Quiet at times, but superb delivery for Vincelot’s late header. Booked for airing his frustration at the opening Sheffield United goal.

Pritchard 6 – Quiet for the most part and didn’t really affect the game too much.

Vincelot 8 – Another dogged display from the Frenchman and capped it with the bullet-like header deep into injury time.

McAnuff 5 – Set pieces were poor all afternoon and didn’t really contribute too much. Sent off, maybe harshly for what was a harsh second yellow.

Simpson 7 – Can’t fault his effort all game and ran himself into the ground chasing lost causes. Got another goal and hopefully we are beginning to see the best of him

Henderson 6 – Tough day for the front man who was often left on his own up front for the most part, but in the second half couldn’t hold the ball up as the O’s needed. Booked.

Substitutes: Dagnall (for Simpson, 69) 6 – Difficult to have an impact with Sheffield United’s second half dominance.

Bartley (for Henderson, 84) 6 – Little time to make an impact.

Batt (for Pritchard 90+3) 6 – Little time to make an impact but did force the late corner which led to the ever so late leveller.
