The Royal British Legion is appealing for volunteers to help it to collect funds for this year’s Poppy Appeal.
They will be needed for two weeks beginning October 25 and until November 11. Anyone interested should contact Bob Stokes on 07794688656
The RBL is also appealing to any ex-servicemen/women or their families who would like help in anyway to get in touch. They do not have to be a member of the Legion to attend its meetings. It meets every Tuesday night at 8pm at West Ham Supporters Club, Castle Street, East Ham. Ask for Ken Hill or Bob Spencer.
