The sun is shining, the blossoms are blooming, and the arrival of newborn animals on Newham City Farm officially marks the start of springtime.

The farm, in Stansfield Road, Beckton, welcomed the arrival of a new litter of pigs, and a flock of leaping lambs last week.

Newham City Farm’s other animal attractions include Blaze the gigantic shire horse, homemade honey from their own beehives, goats, rabbits, llama, cattle, poultry, and the pond is home to a gaggle of geese and ducks.

Run by local charity Community Links, the family attraction is open from 10am to 5pm from Tuesday to Saturday and from 10am to 4pm on Sundays, while the farm is closed on Mondays.
