Lyn Brown has been re-elected as the MP for West Ham.
With seven candidates contesting the seat, she was declared the winner at Lee Valley VeloPark at tonight’s election count.
The Labour politician has held the seat since 2005.
She beat off competition from Conservative candidate Festus Akinbusoye, Liberal Democrat Paul Reynolds and the Green Party’s Rachel Collinson, as well as, Ukip’s Jamie Ross McKenzie, Cydatty Bogie of the Communities United Party and Andy Uzoka of the Christian Peoples Alliance.
