Three lucky youngsters had a memorable trip on the Emirates Air Line to mark World Book Day.
Seven-year-old Daisy Turner, Matthew Hook, nine, and Joseph Koeahi, 10, took to the skies alongside novelist and comedian Julian Clary.
He treated them to an exclusive preview of his new book, The Bolds to the Rescue, about a family of hyenas hiding their identites and living as humans.
Matthew’s dad, Steve Hook, said: “Matthew loves reading and is always really excited for World Book Day, so to have a storytelling experience across the Thames with a famous author was unforgettable.
“Julian Clary was very entertaining and Matthew can’t wait to read all of The Bolds to the Rescue.”
