The Tessa Sanderson Foundation and Academy(TSFA) is pleased to announce 4th edition of Newham Classic 10K Run.

Entry is open now for Newham Classic 10K Run 2012 which will be held on April 15.

If getting fit and healthy is your aim then Newham Classic 10K run is the perfect event for you.

Entries are now open for the run which starts and finishes in West Ham Park and takes in all the all the historic sights of Stratford.

Olympic gold medallist Tessa is once again hosting the run is encouraging all standards of runners to enter.

Newham Classic 10K is aimed to be known as the most eye catching enjoyable 10k run in the UK. It provide a healthy pathway to an energetic young and old population of east London.

The race was launched in 2009 and was successful again in 2010 and last year. Having spent the last few years seeking out otential champions through her Foundation and Sports academy and is now inspiring the wider community into sport, regardless of their age, gender or ethnic

background.

The run is supported by the Newham Recorder and is designed to be enjoyable for beginners, but will also suit experienced runners

who are looking to set personal bests or get in practice for the following week‘s London

Marathon.

Tessa added: “The race is great for all talents. People new to running or nervous anbout

the distance won‘t be overawed because we make it fun.”

Serious runners will also have a good time because there will be some amazing athletes taking

part. The race time is 9.00 to 11.30am on the day at West Ham Park in Upton Lane.
