Police are looking for a toddler seen wandering along a busy road in Beckton.
A member of the public called the Metropolitan Police at 3.09pm saying a child, believed to be around two years old, was on his own on the A406, close to the Beckton roundabout.
Officers from the borough searched the area, assisted by the police helicopter, but no child has been found.
