A trip to Championship side high flyers will be the reward for success

Leyton Orient have been drawn away to Championship side Hull City in the third round of the FA Cup, if they can overcome Blue Square Bet team Alfreton Town in this afternoon’s second round tie.

If Orient do get through, it will be the third time they have been drawn away in this season’s competition, following a first round trip to non-league Gloucester City

Hull City are currently pushing for promotion to the Premier League and Steve Bruce’s side are fifth in the table with 35 points from 20 games following Saturday’s 2-1 win at Nottingham Forest.

The third round ties are due to take place during the first weekend of January.
