An elderly dementia sufferer reported missing from his home in Forest Gate has been found.

Lorenzo Fenoglio, 81, was found safe and well earlier today, police confirmed.

Officers issued an urgent appeal to find Lorenzo yesterday after he went missing from his home in Glenparke Road.

“We thank [the] media for assistance with appeals,” said a Metropolitan Police spokeswoman.
