A high profile womenswear collection was launched at a local Marks and Spencer store with a ribbon cutting ceremony.
The new collection, which has been advertised nationally on billboards, was launched in the chain’s Stratford City store on Wednesday with stylist presentations of the latest catwalk trends.
Shoppers were also offered a complimentary glass of Prosecco and expert personal shoppers for advice their wardrobe.
Mark Payne, the store manager, said: “By showing the glamour, quality and style we have in store this season, we hope our customers will really get a feel for the spirit of this collection.”
The collection’s advertising campaign used photos featuring Dame Helen Mirren by the famous style photographer Annie Leibowitz.
