The heavens may have opened but that did not deter this band of brave cyclists from going epic in Epping.
Departing from Wanstead Flats in Forest Gate the seven adult bikers and one child turned out for a 17-mile pedal to Epping Forest.
The ride which gave them the chance to explore the forest was organised and led by a British Cycling Ride leader and was part of the organisation’s Sky Ride Local event to encourage people to get on their bikes.
