Try a new sport in East Ham for International Older Persons Day

Newham’s older generation are invited to try a new sport for free on Tuesday October 2 for International Older Persons Day.

East Ham Leisure Centre, on Barking Road, invites residents over 55-years-old to drop in for a gym session, a swim, a game of badminton, an aerobics class, or a cooking demonstration from Jamie Oliver’s Ministry of Food from 9.30pm to 1.30pm.

International Older Person’s Day is on October 1 but the Leisure Centre event is the day after.
