Romantic types hoping to get lucky on Valentine’s Day can get free condoms and advice on safe sex at a health bus in East Ham.
NHS Newham’s Health Bus will be in the High Street North, next to the Halifax, on Monday from 11am to 3pm, to spread the message of ‘Playing is safe’ on what is considered to be the most romantic day of the year.
Free condoms will distributed to anyone who boards the bus.
NHS staff will also be raising awareness about Chlamydia and Gonorrhoea as well as HIV and AIDS to help reduce stigma and promote good sexual health. Visitors to the bus will be offered free, quick and confidential HIV, Chlamydia and Gonorrhoea tests.
